Brian Allen's
bass playing is nothing short of virtuosity and he is the recipient of the
prestigious Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. Allen is versatile in any musical
setting from funk, jazz, rock and everything in between. Brian has toured
with John Scofield, Sara Bareilles, Academy Award nominated actress vocalist
Minnie Driver and opened for Maroon 5 at the Brixton Academy in London.
Allen is one of
today's rising stars, his work
can been heard on CD's by Forrest Blackburn, Gnaposs, as well as the
soundtrack to the independent film "Suckers." You can catch Brian on screen
playing upright bass in the 2003 movie "A Mighty Wind" starring Christopher
Guest.
